Frequently Asked Questions
What time are your services? We meet for worship every Sunday at 10:15am.
Do you have Sunday School? We do! Our Life Groups meet at 9:00am across our campus.
What do I wear? You can dress however you want. We'll have people in suits and shorts (depending on how cold it is outside). We're less concerned about your style and more excited that you're joining us for worship. As one of our deacons has said, "It doesn't matter how you come, just that you come."
What about my kids? We offer Life Groups for kids, students, and adults. Kids meet on the 2nd floor, students on the 3rd of our Education Building.
Will you make me stand up as a guest? No, we want to welcome you. And you'll be greeted by a lot of our people. But we won't put you on the spot!
What Bible do you use? Our Lead Pastor preaches out of the Christian Standard Bible. We have pew Bibles for you to reference during the service if you don't have a Bible with you. And if you read the Bible on your phone, you can use the Bible App or the CSB App.
Do you take an offering? We do have multiple ways to give, including in person and digitally. For more, see our Giving page.
Do I have to give if we're visiting? Nope. We believe financial support is the responsibility of members. The best gift you could give to us would be the opportunity to get to know you, pray for you, and find out how we can serve.
How do I become a member? If you want to join FBC, let one of our staff or deacons know and they'll get you in touch with our Lead Pastor. He'll be glad to walk with you through the membership process. We regularly host a "Prospective Membership Breakfast" where we'll talk about what membership means over donuts and coffee.
What kind of church are you? We're part of the Southern Baptist Convention, or Great Commission Baptists. We join with almost 50,000 other churches around the country to partner together for cooperative missions. You can learn more about who we are and what we believe on our Beliefs and Mission Partners pages.
What kind of music do you sing? We'll sing pretty broadly, from songs you've heard on Christian radio to hymns sung by generations. We like to keep things upbeat, and are blessed by an incredibly talented rotation of musicians and singers to serve alongside our Worship Director.
What about activities besides Sunday morning? We regularly offer things on Sunday evenings during the school year. We have a specific discipleship focus for our adults and next gen (kids and students) but we also will take time for fellowships and other activities. If you want to know what's going on, check out our Calendar!
What if I have more questions? You can always reach out to our office, or if you're visiting a service stop by the connection booth before or after the service and someone can help you!
